Information for Authors: Submitting scientific papers according to Springer instructions

The organizing committee of the 2nd International Conference on Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence Strategies (CAIS) is pleased to invite researchers to submit their scientific papers in line with the guidelines of the German publishing house Springer, one of the leading houses in publishing scientific research. To contribute to this conference, please adhere to the specified requirements and formats to ensure that papers are accepted according to the highest scientific standards.

Requirements for submitting scientific papers

Researchers must use the official Springer paper template, which follows the format of the Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series. Papers must be written in clear English and in a sound scientific language. The acceptable number of pages ranges from 6+ pages for short papers to 12+ pages for regular papers. Authors are invited to adhering to Springer template which can be downloaded here.

Instructions for evaluating and selecting papers

Each submitted manuscript is subject to a careful and fair evaluation process by the conference’s Program Committee Chairs. The following are the most important instructions about the evaluation process and the criteria that will be used to select scientific papers.

Initial evaluation

Submitted papers are examined to ensure that they adhere to the required format and are appropriate for the conference topics (artificial intelligence and cybersecurity). Papers that do not adhere to the formatting guidelines or are outside the scope of the conference are excluded at this stage.

Evaluation by the refereeing committee

Initially accepted papers are sent to the refereeing committee, which consists of experts in the fields of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Papers are evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Originality: The contribution must be new and innovative, and not published elsewhere.
  • Scientific quality: Accurate and objective analysis of data, using a sound scientific methodology.
  • Significance: The significance of the results and the expected impact on academic research or practical application.
  • Clarity of presentation: The presentation should be organized and easy to understand, with good presentation of graphs and tables.

Papers with high scientific quality and significant contributions will be selected for publication in the conference proceedings. For inquiries or assistance with formatting and submission requirements, please contact the conference committee via the dedicated email.
